The band has been touring for the last six months with a lighting rig also designed by Ignace including 10 Robe ROBIN 600 LEDWashes, with lighting equipment supplied by YES Rental to the overall technical production company, EML & PRG Benelux. Lighting was operated on the road by Yves De Pooter.

For the Forest National and Lotto Arena shows, each with sold-out audiences of 8000 enthusiastic fans, the rig was increased substantially, giving Ignace a chance to up the count of LEDWash fixtures to 24 x LEDWash 600s and 26 of the new LEDWash 1200s.

The 24 x LEDWash 600s were rigged on a trussing grid over the stage in a matrix arrangement, eight units wide and three deep, and used to wash the main performance area with a wide variety of colours.

The LEDWash 1200s - the first time that Ignace had had the chance to use them on one of his shows - were on the floor, six along the stage left and right sides, with the other 20 at the back, behind the backline. These were used for some awesome beam-work and effects and for powerful cross-stage fill lighting.

Lighting for the concerts was once again operated by Yves using a Chamsys MagicQ console.

He specified Robe LEDWashes for their excellent colour mixing and fine quality of light output, and also because of the range of real whites. Varying shades of white light are a trademark feature frequently used in his shows and designs, and something that has to be perfect to work properly as a visual concept.
