MSL™ – Multi Spectral Light Source
Robe's MSL™ (Multi-Spectral Light) patented LED light engines are, specifically, designed to consistently deliver the highest quality light through the additive colour mixing method. The MSL spreads the emitted light equally throughout the Planck curve, thereby providing the widest possible colour gamut, while simultaneously delivering seamless full range CCT control.
DataSwatch™ – inbuilt virtual colour library
The DataSwatch™ inbuilt virtual colour library for Robe LED fixtures provides consistent colour rendering with commonly matched filter ranges, allowing for rapid and accurate programming.
MCE™ – Split and multicolour effects
Robe offers unique split or multi-colour effects in two ways on our profiles and spot fixtures, adding a whole new blend of creativity to your designs! Generated either via a special split-colour filter or directly from MSL™ multi-spectral LED engine.
Tungsten Emulation
When selected, the luminaire will mimic the colour temperature of a tungsten lamp as you lower the output to produce that classic warm glow.
MLP™ – Multi-level prisms
MLP™ - Patented Multi-Level Prisms allow multiple rotating prisms to be "stacked" while retaining individual position, speed and direction of rotation control. With variable shape and size it creates unlimited dynamic, multi-level flower and beam effects, bringing a whole new collection of eye-popping creativity.
L3™ – Low Light Linearity System
The L3™ Low Light Linearity System produces imperceptible, ultra-smooth fades to black.
REAP™ – Robe Ethernet Access Portal
The Robe Ethernet Access Portal allows to access internal data from a networked fixture, viewed as a web page, addressable via the fixtures network IP.
Cpulse™ – Pulse Width Modulation Control
Cpulse™ is a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control system for luminaires that allows you to select and fine-tune the LED driving frequency, from either the fixture's onboard display or remotely via DMX. By frequency manipulation in a range from 800 Hz to 25 kH, you ensure no flicker will be visible on any camera system including the latest HD & UHD models, ready for 8K and 16K. This means our fixtures can be used with all the latest cameras types for TV, video and film applications.
+ - Green Correction
Green is a crucial colour for the TV and broadcast industry. To address this, Robe has incorporated a dedicated +/- green control channel in the fixtures featuring Multi-Source and Multi-spectral LED light sources, utilizing innovative algorithms. This allows precise and consistent adjustments of green content across the light beam. This seamless control offers vision controllers significantly greater flexibility in challenging lighting applications.
GDTF – General Device Type Format
The General Device Type Format creates a unified definition for exchange of data for the operation of intelligent luminaries, such as moving lights. The file format is human readable and developed using open source formats.
MAPS™ – Motionless Absolute Positioning System
The innovative and exceptionally accurate Robe patented MAPS™ system provides stationary reset without calibration movement, as sensors calculate their absolute positions. This allows discreet resetting of fixtures during a performance and power cycling of luminaires within confined spaces.
EMS™ – Electronic Motion Stabiliser
The Robe EMS™ (Electronic Motion Stabiliser) system is a technology for precise Pan and Tilt movements, which reduces vibrations from audio outputs, truss movement and sprung or suspended floors.
airLOC™
AirLOC™ (Less Optical Cleaning) technology greatly reduces the level of airborne particles drawn over the optical elements in the luminaire.
Epass™
Robe lighting’s Epass™ provides Ethernet in/out connections with a pass-through switch that sustains Ethernet integrity when the fixture has no power to automatically maintain network connectivity.
Slot & Lock Gobos
Robe's patented Slot & Lock system allows for easy and fast replacement of both rotatable and indexable gobos.
ProFrost™
Setting the absolute benchmark in diffusion, our patented hyperinnovative ProFrost™ progressive frost system smoothly softens, melts and dissolves projections to whatever level desired. Operable at any zoom setting, it diffuses from 0° - 15°, covering the faintest softening to complete beam dispersion evenly across the field, allowing fixtures to be used as key lighting soft lights. This gives designers levels of diffusion control not previously achievable. ProFrost™ - seamless frost transitions never felt so natural!
Plano4™ Framing shutters
Robe's patented Plano4™ 4-blade framing shutter module offers unparalleled beam control with individual movement and rotation control for each blade. The Plano4™ FC module features full curtain movement, allowing each blade to move entirely across the light path for full-wipe capability.
QVGA Robe Touch Screen Display System
The QVGA Robe touch screen display gives full access to all fixture setup and diagnostic functions and is very intuitive to navigate.

UpLift™
Handling large fixtures can be challenging due to their size and weight. UpLift™ clip-on handles are designed to make this easier. Compatible with iFORTE® LTX, iESPRITE® LTL, T3 Profile™, T3 Fresnel™ / PC™, and iWTF™, these handles attach and detach effortlessly, making carrying and lifting heavy fixtures much more comfortable.
